7 Reasons I Should Have Hired A Coach...

And Why You Should Too

If I could buy a time machine on eBay that actually worked, I would.

Then I would use it to travel back in time to before I met my wife and meet her earlier than I did. After that, I would hire a fitness coach.

That’s right…

And let me explain why.

You see, although I managed to achieve a pretty solid transformation in the beginning, what most of you don’t know is that I spent a lot of time (and money) before that banging my head against the wall.

Training, training, training…

Eating, eating, eating…

And nothing…no progress at all.

Then, after countless hours, a small fortune, and a ton of headaches, I finally “cracked the code”.

But it came to a point where that “code” no longer worked…

And although I had made some decent progress, I was once again stuck and back at square one.

Then it got really tricky…

Because when I dove back into the books, studies, and articles, everyone had something different to say.

Something that completely contradicted everything I had just “learned”…

And you want to know the crazy part about it?

Everyone had a solid argument for their teachings.

Can you see how that could get your head spinning?

So here I was, going in different directions praying that this “new secret strategy” would be the one that would pile slabs of muscle onto my frame. Changing my approach every few weeks. And making zero progress because I had no structure.

Now obviously after years of research, trial and error, and some small (and large) investments, I am finally at a point where I am labeled a professional.

But despite how it may have seemed, it didn’t happen for overnight…

So what if I had just hired a coach in the beginning?

Now obviously I am not talking about some 18 year old personal trainer who took a 2 week course and became certified to teach people about health and fitness.

I am talking about a serious expert who had “been there, done that”, was well educated, showed proven techniques, plenty of successful clients, and maybe even looked the part himself/herself.

How much further along would I be today?

How much time, money, and heartache would I have saved myself over the years?

Are you having similar struggles? Maybe it’s something you should consider and here’s why:

1. Y.O.L.O

Yes I know, it’s a cheesy played out acronym. But think about it. You only live once and time is precious.

So why spend hours, weeks, months, or even years trying to figure something out when there are plenty of people out there who already know the answer?

You can always make more money, but you can never get your time back.

2. A Second Pair of (Trained) Eyes

It’s no secret that savvy business men hire business coaches to help take their vision to the next level.

Does this mean that this person isn’t smart or can’t make their business successful on their own?

Absolutely not!

It means that these people can put their ego aside and be smart enough to know that they don’t know everything. By hiring a coach with more experience than they have, they are simply achieving the same results they may have eventually gotten, but in half the time or faster.

3. Peace of Mind

Are you worried that what you’re doing isn’t working?

Maybe you are unsure if you’re eating the right amounts of the right foods, resting enough between sets, pushing hard enough, doing enough reps, performing enough sets, or even sleeping enough at night.

What if you could have the peace of mind that everything you are doing is right and its working?

Peace-of-Mind

How much would that be worth to you?

To be able to just do the steps that someone has already laid out for you and not have to run google searches every few hours to find out if you’re “doing it wrong”.

4. Accountability

Do you have someone waiting to hear about your progress every week? Someone that is genuinely concerned about whether or not you stuck to the plan?

You see, it’s hard to hold ourselves accountable. Mainly because if we fail, no one knows and nothing changes. But what if we told someone about our goals? Maybe a close friend. And what if that friend made it a point to question you every single week about what steps you took to getting closer to that goal?

Do you think you would be slacking off during the week knowing that soon you’ll have to own up to it?
Probably not.

5. Encouragment

You’ll be amazed at the things you can accomplish when you have someone who believes in what you’re doing. Having a support system around you or hearing a few words of encouragement can lift your spirits when you’re down.

With everything going on around you, it can get overwhelming, frustrating and even lonely at times.

Sometimes all we need is a little reassurance that “we can do it” or that “you’re doing great!” or even just someone else who is as excited as you are about your goals.

6. SMART Goals

Goals should be: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely.

If your goal looks something like this “I want to build 20 lbs of muscle”, you’re likely to fail.

Not because this goal is not attainable, but because it lacks the important details.

Where do you want this muscle to grow?

What’s your deadline for achieving this goal?

Is this date realistic?

What are the small steps you’ll have to take in order for you to achieve this goal?

7. Confidence

confidence
In my opinion, confidence comes from 2 things.

1. Praise. (i.e. Have you been working out? You look so much stronger!)
2. Achieving something that you once thought was impossible (i.e. bench pressing 225 pounds for reps).

Are there any goals you have right now that you think might be out of reach?

Hire a coach and I guarantee that after a few weeks, you’ll notice that you are capable of so much more than you thought. And believe me, there is no more satisfying or more confidence boosting feeling than achieving something you once thought was out of reach.

From there, you become unstoppable.

You Can’t Teach Experience

Creating and running your own nutrition and training program is a tough thing, and with all the mixed and contradicting information, I would say nearly impossible to do successfully.

If you hired a coach, it would be like having a friend who just happens to have all the answers to your questions.

Do you think your friend would hide his/her secrets from you?

3 BIGGEST Mistakes That Killed My Gains – Avoid This!

I am a firm believer that my readers and clients can accomplish much better results than I did. Not because of some poor excuse on my part, but because they have the ability to learn from my mistakes and can avoid wasting as much time as I did.

Instead of spending time on Google and YouTube trying to put pieces to a puzzle together without a picture of the puzzle to begin with, he decided to take the approach of following someone’s (mine) advice and expertise to ensure he was on the right track.

And guess what?

He was able to transform his body in a matter of weeks.

Want to build muscle, consistently, while avoiding the 3 big mistakes that kept me from growing?
